WHO WE ARE

Brandy Investments is the entity that oversees and administers the assets of the Arendsee family. Based in San Diego, it acts as the “headquarters” for WAK Management (a Texas-based property management firm), KAWA Insurance (a Texas-based captive insurance company), WAK Enterprises (a family investment partnership), the KAWA Irrevocable Trust, and several other entities. Brandy manages two charitable foundations: The Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee Family Foundation and the Arendsee Family Foundation (established by Richard and Judy Arendsee).

Brandy was named after a beloved family golden retriever. Most of the entities are identified by using the initials of Richard and Judy Arendsee’s three children: Allan, Wayne, and Keith.

Brandy is run by its CEO, Allan Arendsee, who, after a successful career in real estate brokerage and banking, joined the company in 2007.

 

PRIMARY ASSETS INCLUDE:

4,000 +/- apartment units in Dallas/Fort Worth and Nashville areas.

Ownership in other local real estate and financial institutions.

Other investments including marketable securities and operating companies related to the apartment investments.
